Obituary of Carol Katherine Euteneier

Carol, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the age of 77 years.

She was the youngest daughter of Bill and Rosa Euteneier. Carol was predeceased by her parents; niece Alexa and brothers-in-law Gordon and Stewart. She is survived by sisters Esther Love and Marlene Andree; nephews and nieces Grant (Nancy), Lisa and Alan (Didget); great-nephew Mika; as well as many relatives and friends.

Carol attended school for two years in Kronau and then the family moved to Regina, where she attended Wetmore and Balfour. She then attended post-secondary school at Concordia Lutheran College in Moorhead Minnesota receiving a Master’s Degree in Home Economics.

She loved teaching and spent her last years in Lumsden High School. Quilting and sewing were a true passion and her work was absolutely beautiful. Carol loved travelling and visited many countries and especially enjoyed River Cruises and spending time in Mazatlan with her sister and family.

She lived independently until the last three years when she had a special caregiver, Cheryl, living with her.

Carol will be missed by her family and friends. She possessed a keen sense of humor and we could always count on her to have a positive take on all of life’s ups and downs.

A private graveside will be held with a Celebration of her life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memorium may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 1909 Ottawa Street, Regina, SK, S4P 1P7 or to the Parkinson Society of Canada, 4211 Yonge Street, Suite 316, Toronto, Ontario, M2P 2A9.
