Bob was one of the nicest, gentlest people I have ever known - so many fond memories of gaming and raving and fishing and movies and just hanging out with him. He was an amazing artist too, and we still have a blown glass piece of his on our wall.
Fun Bob story - once upon a time I got in a car accident (not my fault). I was young, it was my first, I did not know what to do and was crying too hard to talk to the police on scene in the middle of Broad and Vic intersection. Just then, Bob walked by... and instantly came to my side, wrapped an arm around me, and took care of everything including sorting things out with the other driver while I could barely blubber out words and he had to translate my weeping. I was so beyond grateful to him, he was so calming and sweet and adulting.
I have not seen him in years, but I still miss him. Rest well, Bob.
