Obituary of Doreen Eileen Gair

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Doreen Gair on October 30, 2021 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Alex Gair; her parents Ed and Cynthia Perpete; brother Donald Smith; sisters Maxine Rotzien and Elsie Briltz; brothers-in- law Hugh Olver, Simon Gair, and Bill Gair; and sisters-in-law Henrietta Smith and Mary Ellen Gair. Doreen is survived and lovingly remembered by children Randall Gair, Kevin (Valerie) Gair, Brenda Gair of Regina, SK, and Scott (Kate) Gair of Calgary, AB; grandchildren Vanessa (Joe) Baker, Adrianna (Jaiden) Nikolic, Carson Mayer, and Taylor (Kayla Bugg) Mayer all of Regina, SK; precious great-grandchildren Levi and Jake Baker, Callie Nikolic; sister-in-law Flora Olver; brothers-in-law Glen Rotzien and Corly Briltz; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Doreen lived in Indian Head, SK for many years and worked at the local hospital as a nurse’s aide for over 36 years. She enjoyed time with friends and family and was an avid fan of all activities her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were involved in. She was an avid gardener, and her garden was beyond compare. A Celebration of Life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Private interment will be held at a later date in Indian Head. The family wishes to thank the wonderful and caring staff at Allegro Seniors Home. Friends so wishing may make donations, in memoriam, to The Lung Association of Saskatchewan.
