Obituary of Lloyd Ernest Rogers
Lloyd Rogers passed away in his sleep after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Lloyd was born in Minnedosa, Manitoba, met his wife Mary while living in Vancouver, then spent most of his life in Regina.
He was predeceased by his son Clayton and son-in-law Craig. Lloyd is survived by his wife Mary; his daughters Kim and Krista (Kyle); and his grandchildren Jake, Stella, Grace and Blake.
Lloyd ran his own real estate brokerage in Regina for 50 years and volunteered tirelessly in the Community. He was president of the Regina Chamber of Commerce; President of BOMA Regina and BOMA Canada; National chair of the Energy Management Taskforce; a long-time member of the Regina Eastview Rotary Club; and a long-time member of the Regina Committee of Ducks Unlimited.
Lloyd was a motorsports participant and enthusiast, a passionate photographer, and an avid hunter of game birds. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
