James Elwin McMahon late of Regina, SK passed away on November 6, 2021 at the age of 91 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Johanna; wife Florence “Jean”; brothers, Wayne and Arnold; sister-in-law Bernice; and grandson, Aaron. James is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Kathy Hyworon (Alan); son, Larry (Louise); brother, Milton (Ione); grandchildren Carolyn (Darcy) Lewis, Derek (Tara) and Sheldon (Shari); seven great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
James was born in Innes, SK and spent his early years helping on the family farm near Cadillac. His long career as Sergeant and Flight Engineer in the Canadian Air Force took him (and his family) all over the world. Upon retirement, he settled in Regina, SK where he spent years working at the Centre of the Arts and taking care of apartment blocks.
A special thanks to the dedicated staff of doctors, nurses and care aides at the Pasqua Hospital (4A) and Neighbourhood Nurses for their kindness and care.
