Obituary of Art Velychko

On Friday, November 12, 2021 Arthur Peter Velychko passed away. He will be sadly missed. He was predeceased by his great-grandparents John and Annie Oscienny.  Art is survived by his father Art Jory Cassell; mother Violet Velychko; sister Annie Fayant Velychko (Marty); his beloved children Serenity and Ryder; his nieces and nephews Dante, Willow, Meadow, and  Ceason Fayant-Velychko; grandparents Peter and Anne Velychko; his aunties and uncles; godmother Vickie Velychko who was by his side always; as well as his many friends.

Art had the most stunning blue eyes and beautiful smile. He would light up the room. His passion for gold and jewellery was like no other and he made sure he always looked his finest.

Art worked for Concorde Concrete for twenty years. He loved his boss Brad Galbiati very much and thought of him as a father figure. Art loved speaking with Brad and they both had a passion for old and new cars.

He loved helping out his godmother by doing repairs around her house and spending quality time with her.

A Public Visitation will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Cecilia R.C. Church, 5020 7^th Avenue, Regina, SK, on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. To view the livestream of the service please click on the link above, on the day of the service.
