Obituary of Patricia Mary Hegg

Patricia “Patsy” Mary Hegg died peacefully and surrounded by her loving husband Elmer, in Regina, SK, on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at the age of 81 years. 

Patsy is survived by the love of her life and husband of 21 years, Elmer; daughter Naomi (Sheldon), Marlene (Ken), Vaughan,  Gwendolyn (Doug) and Vladimir (Michaela); brothers Fred and Guy; her memory will live on in each of her 8 grandchildren, Amanda (Carrick), Justin (Kristie), Tyler (Stephanie), Breghnan (Garret), Jenna (Jayde), Mark, Brett and Annie (Sandon); six great-grandchildren, Abigail, Gwendolyn, Nixon, Ethan, Waylon and Cooper; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

We grew up making snow angels in the snow and with the belief that the sparkles in the snow was a magical place where little people lived.  The sun was always shining, where flowers always bloomed, and the little people in the snow were singing and dancing in love and happiness.  This was the love and life our mother shared with Elmer for the past 21 years.  Elmer and mom lived a life where the sun was always shining, flowers bloomed, and they danced and lived in happiness and love.  

Albert Einstein once said “Our death is not an end if we can live on in our children and the younger generation.  For they are us, our bodies are only wilted leaves on the tree of life.”

Thank you for the many supportive words and gestures extended to our family over the past years.

Funeral Mass will be held at Little Flower Parish, 420 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 10:30 a.m.  To view the livestream of the service, please click on the link above on the day of the service.
