Obituary of Iris Agatha Streete

Iris Streete made the journey to her Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, November 17, 2021,  in accordance with Christ’s words, “in my Father’s house there are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you…I will come again and receive you unto myself…” John 14:2

Iris was predeceased by her husband Edwald (Ewin), her parents, a grandson, and several in-laws.  She leaves her children Marj, Geoffrey, Janice, Trevor, Pauline, and Martin; several grandchildren; sisters Cicy, Vashti, Imogene, Doreth, and Dorothy; brothers Noel and Neville; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and her church family to celebrate her life.

Iris exemplified Christian values.  She was humble, gracious, patient, and full of love, hope, and respect.  Iris warmly welcomed people into her life and treated them like family. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Public Visitation will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

The Celebration of Iris’s Life will be held at Shiloh Assembly Apostolic Church, 1600 Broadway Avenue, Regina, SK on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.

Capacity is limited to 100 people.  Pandemic protocols in place include registration, temperature check, hand sanitation and masks are mandatory.

Memorial donations may be made to Regina Wascana Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road, Regina, SK S4R 8P6 in gratitude for the great care that was provided to our mother.
