Deepest Condolences to all the Block family. R.I.P. to my special friend, Arnie. Your friendly, caring and giving spirit enriched my life from day one. I always enjoyed the walks around Wascana Lake and great conversations with you and your friend, Marvin. Feeding the geese and ducklings was a special treat for us all, especially the ducklings, LOL. You always took pains to make sure we had lots of the special grains that they loved. Come the Springtime, the geese are really going to miss their friend Arnie, as we all will, without a doubt.
I have many wonderful memories to cherish for a long time. The Angels in heaven gained a wonderful new friend. You will never be far from my thoughts, especially when I walk around the Wascana Lake.
Adios
Your friend and walking partner,
Anna.

THANK YOU TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS FOR YOUR CARING AND LOVING CONDOLESCENSES ON THE PASSING OF MY DEAREST FRIEND ARN. Your empathy has eased the grieving journey and I thank you from my heart! I also know Arn is smiling in spirit. XO
RIP ARNOLD BLOCK (Arn) With deep sadness, my Wascana Lake Walking friend of 12 years passed to the other side tonight in God's bright light and grace after 14 years fighting and battling cancer in continuous chemo and radiation treatments. He had many life challenges and walked some tough roads, finally settling into facilitating as a Life Skills Coach and helping others that were in need. He loved his Harley Bike and the ACDC rock bands. Arn was the big brother friend that was always looking out for me and we both were teachers and students in our reasons for meeting. His generosity and kindness was so heartfelt and genuine. He was always present, and I am honoured to say that this man was a bestie friend and spiritual mentor. Tonight, the most breathtaking sunset appeared as he passed, and when I checked my phone, Leonard Cohen's “Hallelujah” was playing. His last 13 days in Palliative Care freed him of his pain and allowed Arn to end his life with grace and dignity. My gratitude to the Doctors and Nurses in Palliative Care at the Pasqua Hospital. Your compassionate caring was outstanding and made him smile often. Condolences also to his family. I look forward to connecting with your spirit (for many more walks) my dear friend Arn. Our last chats were the best. "You grew your wings and jetted off to the heavens..."
