Obituary of Leona Marie Kroeskamp

Leona Kroeskamp (nee Big Eagle), late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at the age of 85 years. She was predeceased by her parents Robert and Cecilia Big Eagle; Spouse Jack Kroeskamp; infant son baby Kroeskamp; Sisters Flora (Edward), Laura (Leonard), Lillian and Lorraine; and Brothers Joseph (Rose), Lawrence (Marjorie), Lloyd (Hilda) and Leonard (Irene). Leona is survived by daughter Cleo Big Eagle (Eric); sons Brent Kroeskamp (Cheryl) and Barry Kroeskamp; grandchildren Justin Holness and Kelsey Holness; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Friday, November 26, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Ocean Man First Nation Band Hall, on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Ocean Man First Nation Cemetery. Those so wishing, may make memorial donations in Leona’s name to the Regina Humane Society, Box 3143, Regina, SK, S4P 3G7.
