Eva Pattison

Obituary of Eva Louise Pattison

It is with much sadness the family announces the passing of Eva Pattison of Regina Saskatchewan. Mom was born and raised in Whitewood Saskatchewan, later moving to Saskatoon where she continued her studies graduating from the University of Saskatchewan as one of the provinces first female pharmacists. During this time, mom met our father Ken. They would eventually marry and make Regina home. Mom taught at the University of Regina, then moved on to pursue a fulfilling career as a local pharmacist and mother to four children. Mom was a sports enthusiast. She was an avid curler, later taking up bowling. She continued to bowl with her Seniors League into her nineties, accumulating numerous bowling awards. Mom was an excellent cook, turning out many a fabulous feast for family gatherings. She loved to sew and knit for the family, often entering her works and winning ribbons at the Regina Exhibition. The family was looking forward to celebrating mom’s 100th birthday in May. We find comfort knowing mom lived a long and happy life. We wish to express our gratitude to the staff and residents at the Cupar Nursing Home for the care, compassion and friendship shown Mom in her final years. Eva will be fondly remembered by her daughters Louise and LeeAnne (Drew); daughter-in-law Karen; son Bob (Hope); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
