It is with sadness that the family of Lucille Rennie, of Balgonie, SK, announces her passing on December 1, 2021, at the Grace Hospice in Regina. Mom was born on July 31,1934, in Gouverneur, SK. and raised in Ponteix, SK. She became a schoolteacher and later a bookkeeper for the John Deere dealership she and her husband Jack owned. In her later years, Mom loved to garden, play bridge, listen to music, and spend time with friends and family. She especially enjoyed all her great-grandchildren. Mom was predeceased by her husband, Jack Rennie; parents, Archie and Gabrielle Stringer; parents-in-law, Cliff and Leila Logan; brother Roger Stringer; sister Claudette Stringer; foster-brother Richard Goulet; brothers-in-law Robert Rennie, Don Rennie, Gerry Rennie, Art Anderson and Ken Logan, sisters-in-law June Rennie, Helen Rennie and Nora Anderson.  Those who cherish her memory are her children, Gerry and Gisele Rennie, Claudette and Mark Coppicus, and Lynne and Murray Balzer; her grandchildren, Doug and Jenn Rennie, Sheryl and Jarred Hodgson, Sandi and Brett Marshall, Brandon and Caley Coppicus, Reagan Coppicus and Liz Quint; and great-grandchildren, Neasha, Hunter, Hayden, Leyna, Roane, Natalie, Benjamin, and William. Mom is also survived by her brother-in-law, Wilf Haberman; sisters-in-law Patricia Stringer, Carole Haberman and Faye Logan; foster-sister Annette Hofer; dear friends Marilyn Forster, Marie Gottselig; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Her family would like to say special thanks to the Palliative Care team and the nurses and staff at Grace Hospice who cared for Mom during her 11-month journey with cancer. Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Mom’s memory to the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice at 50 Angus Road, Regina, Sask.
