Obituary of Marshall Jerrod Vincent Wayne McKay

In loving memory of Marshall McKay Jr. of Regina, SK., who passed away suddenly on December 15, 2021. Marshall was born on October 1, 1988 in Regina to Renita Wahpoosewyan and Marshall McKay. He was their third oldest son. Marshall was predeceased by both his mother Renita and father Marshal; his two younger  sisters April Catherine Joy McKay and Rayleen Faye Dawn McKay-Holmes; brother Douglas McKay; and brother-in- law Daryl Holmes. Left to mourn are his sister Alexis McKay; brothers Joseph McKay, and Aaron Wahpoosewyan (Kelly); uncles Rocky (Roy) Wahpoosewyan and Raeo Dempsey (Vivian); aunties Cheryle Obey, Danita Wahpoosewyan and Charleen Dempsey (Darry); grandparents, Mushum Roy Wahpoosewyan and Helen Shewack (Bill H.). Marshall will also be remembered by his cousins Gayleen Shepherd (Jon), Carrie Lerat (Terry), Justin Lerat (Miami), Jonas Obey (Crystal); and all of his family. He also leaves behind three beautiful children Marshall McKay the 3^rd, Talisa McKay and Anastasia McKay.

We will remember Marshall for his contagious smiles and laughing eyes. He was so soft hearted and had a gentle spirit.

Wake will be held at Speers Family Centre, 2333 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 5:00 PM. Funeral Service will take place at the Speers Family Centre on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM. Our family would like to thank all in attendance on this very sad day.
