I had many wonderful visits with Alf and Helen as a child when my parents did their annual trip from Edmonton to Regina. My mom, Irene, was Alf's cousin and they grew up together as they were very close in age. One story I remember she told me was that Alf had to take her to her graduation dance as she did not have a date. I also fondly remember visiting Great-Auntie Mary in her tiny house in Moose Jaw. I enjoyed exchanging Christmas cards with Alf every year. I usually ribbed him about the Roughriders season standings compared to the Eskimos. My thoughts are with your entire family. Diane Buchan
