My heart breaks for your loss. We all have treasured possessions from our life and two of mine were created by Uncle Bill and Aunt Gwen. These gifts were both given to me between 55 and 60 years ago. I was absolutely enchanted by their beauty when I got them as gifts. Every time I look at them they bring back wonderful memories of my childhood. I will miss them both dearly.

My condolences to my cousins and their loss of Uncle Bill. I will always remember him for his extensive rock collection, the beautiful works of art that he and Auntie Gwen had in the basement of their home. And the mounds of unfinished rocks in the garage. Such a wonderful man to talk to. Wealth of knowledge. Rest peacefully.

Because of Bill my husband, Jim, and I became avid rock hounds and members of the Prairie Rock and Gem Society in Regina. With his patient and skilled guidance we created our very first cabochons, learned where and how to dig for crystals in Crystal Park and how to tumble, then wire wrap, stones. He was a true master in this hobby and so generous in sharing his skills and knowledge..
We feel blessed to have known this lovely gentleman. Knowing him, and learning from him, truly enriched our lives.

Bill was a very personable man, to talk to and to work with as well. He always was so interested in sharing his polishing of those beautiful stones, and we bought some from him too. Bill added to this life with his love of doing things and enjoyed interacting with people. People like Bill will always come to mind for a lot of us.
The memories of his love will sustain Gwen and his family forever.

I met Mr. Gottschall early in my working life at SaskPower. I assigned him cars to travel out of town. When we discovered we knew the Klinks in common with the rock side of his life, he often told me of his trips and collecting. I remember thinking for such a tall man, he had such a soft voice and gentle chuckle. He was so very nice, always kind and polite. A true gentleman. My condolences to his family.
