My sincere condolences to you Marie and to the family. I will always remember Tom for being a pleasant gentle fellow with a remarkable memory for details . As the former Director / Administrator at Qu’appelle House I remember the day Tom first was admitted accompanied by George . We shared many conversations and the staff all helped him feel comfortable as he settled in and made it his home . May God bless you . We are all richer for having known Tom . I wish to add that George Coulson our brother in law continued in being a constant companion to Tom even after the passing of our sister Minnie and George's wife. Tom and George enjoyed many lunches out at various restaurants in Regina as well as trips to the library malls and medical appointments as q Well as Fanily dinners at Qu'Appelle House

I did not have the words that would adequately express my thanks and of gratitude to the staff residents and doctors that participated in the care of my brother Tom Tom blossomed there and became the best version of himself. Tom's spirit will remain with me and I am glad I can say he was my brother Enjoy Tom's Celebration of life.

I wish to thank Faye for her service in bringing my brother Tom the Ehucarist on a rotation during his time at Friendly Circle care home ; which was the perfect transitional place after Tom had been with his devoted sister Min and brother in law George for 40 years living with them in their home in Calgary. I did visit Tom there after they moved back to Regina in 2001. Those were the days when Tom did his lengthy walks. I also have a treasured picture at Christmas in 2003 of Tom Min Eileen and George with Nezain and Devika in the photo. Thank you to all who contributed to his care and well being.

I visited Thomas and took him Communion weekly for many years when he lived on Walden Cres before moving to Qu’Appelle House. He was indeed a man of many words and of much knowledge. Each of these visits was a joy to me. A life well lived. Faye Helmerson

From the Staff and Residents of Qu'Appelle House: “Thomas Potapchuk was a man of many words. His sense of humor and charisma lit up any room he entered. Tom had a way of making you feel special, and celebrating any big accomplishment or landmark. He made a home, and a family at Qu’Appelle House - where he stayed for the last 14 years of his life. With his passing, Tom is leaving behind a beautiful legacy, and as the sun shines we remember his bright smile. He will be deeply missed.”
