Obituary of Shirley Jean Broad

In the early morning on Friday, February 4, 2022, Shirley passed away peacefully in her sleep with her husband, Glen, of 70 years at her side. Shirley was born on June 28, 1930 in Regina, she was 91 years old when she passed. Shirley will be missed by her sons, Jim and Doug (Sonia); daughter Nancy (Lindsay); and grandchildren Matt, Benjamin, Sarah (Dave), and Angelina. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Surtie, and the amazing staff at College Park II, Harvest Haven, and Broadway Terrace, where Shirley enjoyed her final years surrounded by people who cared for her. A private family funeral will be held in the coming days. Those so wishing, may make memorial donations in Shirley’s name to a charity of their choice.
