Obituary of Pamela Jean Tinline
Pamela Jean Tinline, peacefully in the early hours of Sunday, February 6th, 2022, surrounded by all three of her loving children, Pamela took her last breaths.
Predeceased by her parents Cecil and Angela Anderson, survived by her three children: Darcy Brierley, Paula Tinline (Regina, SK) and Jason Tinline (Calgary, AB); grandchildren: Brendan Brierley (Sasha), Brianna Brierley (Zach) and Carissa Brierley (Michael); also survived by her siblings Pat MacPhie, Penny Burgess (Gord), Ken Anderson (Jan), and Rocky; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Pamela was born on April 2, 1945 and lived in Regina for her entire life and while she had many careers over her lifetime, she was happiest in the company of her family and beloved pets.
Pam and her younger sister, Penny, used to spend many Saturdays together with their combined children, often walking or biking for great distances under the ruse of treats and popcorn, in which was code for “tiring the kids out”! Pam loved music, especially from the 1960s and 1970s, often having impromptu dance parties with her kids, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Another special memory from her children, many of the nieces, nephews and grandchildren is Pam’s love of action movies, even in her final days Bruce Willis movies brought her enormous joy. Pam loved double pepperoni pizza from Houston Pizza and cold beer on a hot day. She was an incredibly hard working, determined, vivacious and loving person and will be missed terribly.
A special thank you to the extraordinary caregivers at Regina Pioneer Village, for not only keeping her safe during the covid pandemic, but also for the attentiveness and kindness shown to her and her family over the past several years.
As per Pam’s wishes, there will be no funeral, rather a family celebration in coming months. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Regina Humane Society (Box 3143, Regina, SK, S4P 3G7) in honour of Pam’s love for animals. https://reginahumanesociety.ca/how-to-help/donate/
