Obituary of Bernice Grayson

Bernice Grayson passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.  Born near Asquith, Saskatchewan to Edith and Harry Turner on March 24, 1919, she grew up on the farm during the depression when times were hard.  She spent much of her adult life in Moose Jaw, later moving to Regina. Bernice was a thrifty homemaker with a love of baking and preserving produce from her garden, a skilled sewer, knitter, quilter and crafter.  She was predeceased by her first husband, George Larsen; her second husband, John Grayson; her sister, Laura Lee and her son-in-law, Douglas Gardner.  Bernice is survived by her sons, Layne Larsen (Pat) and Chris Larsen (Evelyn Taylor); daughter Maida Gardner; step daughter Jackie Trout (Bill); 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.  We thank the wonderful staff at Parkside Extendicare for the loving care of our mother over the past 7 years.  Interment will take place at a later date in Moose Jaw.
