Obituary of Allan Harold Rein

January 8, 1938 – February 15, 2022

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Allan on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Throughout the years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, curling, golfing and travelling with his family and friends. Allan had a long sales career in the printing forms business. He was a long-term, dedicated member of Ducks Unlimited, participating in many events over the years.  In his later years, he very much enjoyed participating in annual Fowl Suppers in support of the marshlands and local churches. One of his greatest joys was being in the stands supporting and cheering many of his family members in their sports endeavors.  Allan had many fond memories of holidaying with friends and family and reminisced about these memories often. He was predeceased by his parents Ferdinand and Helene; twin brother Alfred, brothers-in-law Ken (Eleanor), Laird (Georgina) and Murray; and sister-in-law Bernice (Tex). Allan is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patricia; children Jeff and Theresa (Dennis); grandchildren Troy and Marlee; great-granddaughter Ayla; sisters Vivian (Bill) and Darlene (Joe); brothers Leslie (Carol) and Gerry (Sandra); sisters-in-law Shirley (Art), Marlene, Bev and Ruby; many nieces and nephews; and extended family.  Allan adored his family and had a very special place in his heart for his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.  He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.  A private family service will be held.
