Obituary of Dorothy Louise Bell

Dorothy Louise Bell “Dodie,” passed away on February 28, 2022, at the age of 96. Dodie was born in Regina on July 31, 1925 to John and Edith Hickling. In 1948 she married William “Bill” Bell and they made their home in Regina until 1977 when they moved to Regina Beach. Following the passing of her beloved Bill in 1994, Dodie moved back to Regina and made a new life for herself. Dodie is survived by daughters Maureen (Doug Roney) of Calgary, and Cherilyn Heywood of St. Paul, Alberta and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was the last of her generation on both sides of the family. Our sincere thanks to the many friends and care-givers who helped mum; Val Pool, Trina Rolufs-frail, and the staff at Quance Street Medicine Shoppe. The care and support of staff at Grace Hospice is greatly appreciated. A private celebration of Dodie's life will be held at a later date.
