Obituary of Frances Buzash

Fran Buzash passed away at Pasqua Hospital on March 7, 2022 at the age of  86. Fran was survived by her husband James  Buzash, who passed away on March 10, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents, Tony and Katie Greba (2007); son Keith (1997); and first husband Norman Korney (1962). Fran is survived by daughter, Tracy Farebrother (Clayton); son, Trevor Korney (Tamie);  stepchildren, Dawn Buzash, Brenda Yeaman (Bill) and Joan Sievert (Lorne); sisters, Rose Carsten (Walter) and Annete Pearce  (Wayne); and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Fran graduated in Nursing at the Grey Nuns Hospital and later  joined the the City of Regina Health Department. In 1975 she married James Buzash. Fran spent many years as a  Health Nurse at several Elementery and High Schools, she made many home visits to moms and their new babies. She loved children. Fran and Jim retired to Salmon Arm, B.C. and spent  their winters in Texas and Yuma, Arizona. They recently returned to Regina. Funeral Mass for both James and Frances will be held at Little Flower Parish, 420 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 10:30 a.m.
