We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Alex. We got to know him as a young man when we first went to Ukraine many years ago. It was a joy to host him and his brother and parents when they immigrated to Regina and he began working for KFC. He was eager and walked/ran a long distance to get himself to work and back. We were happy to be able to share a Christmas meal with him this past Christmas and have this short time where we talked with him via phone. He will be remembered, dying to soon alone, and leaving those who loved him. Blessings to all as you grieve. Florence and Otto

Alex really loved his children. All of them. I remember when Zanna was a baby & starting to eat solid food, Alex brought home about forty dollars worth of candy for her! He was so excited to be the first one to feed her candy. I tried to make him wait to allow her candy but he only held out a few days. Then Alex & Zanna along with Justin & Kayla, had a candy fest. He broke off a few small pieces for Zanna & she really really enjoyed it. If he could have, he would have given his children the world. My condolences to all of you.
