Obituary of Marilyn Dolores Linder

Marilyn Dolores Linder passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at the age of 87 years. She was born on January 6, 1935 in Herbert, Saskatchewan, not far from where she grew up, by Beaver Flat to parents Anna and John Funk. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon Frederick Linder (January 1, 1971); a partner, Glenn Semanski (May 15, 2002); oldest daughter, Debra Heebner; daughter Michelle Linder Rickard; and grandson, Brendon Bolen.

Left to cherish her memory are her twin daughters, Gloria (Larry) Schindel and Karen Linder; son-in-law Tim Rickard; son-in-law Dennis Heebner and April (Dale) Kent; grandchildren, Brett (Nicole), Lee (Amanda), Amber (Scott), Carson, Kala (Tyson), Courtney (Bill), Curtis (Jenny), Kalee, Kendra (Duane); and many great-grandchildren. Marilyn will also be missed by close family friends, Valerie and Glen McIvor and Charlene Matties and Dale Vandergrift, who all showed mom so much help, support and friendship over the years and an honourable mention to Teddy (Tedderetta), the 19 year old housecat who she loved dearly, soulmates.

Marilyn was a strong-willed, caring and giving person, she will be sadly missed by all who knew her. The family wishes to thank the Regina General and Pasqua Hospitals, as well as Pioneer Village and Elmview Care Homes for all of your care.

Celebration of Marilyn’s life will be held at the Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK, on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
