Obituary of Gary Benz

J. Gary Benz, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Gary is survived by his wife Georgina; daughters Cassandra Peterson (Nathan) and Kimberley Hastings (Scott); granddaughters Sydnee and Avalyn Hastings; brothers Brian (Marilyn) Benz and Donald (Marj) Benz, and families, Ken (Donna) Flavel and family. Gary was predeceased by his parents John and MaryAnn Benz; brother Wayne Benz; father and mother-in-law George and Rose Julien; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Marie and Don Flavel. A heart felt thank you and appreciation to the wonderful staff and doctors of Unit 6F and the Renal Unit of the Regina General Hospital. A Celebration of Gary’s Life will be held at the Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park at a later date. In lieu of flowers, family and friends so wishing may make memorial donations to a charity of choice.
