Obituary of Lawrence Ivan Brezinski

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Lawrence (Larry) on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at the age of 87. Larry was predeceased by his parents, John and Lena; sister Ruth and her husband Joe Kozak; niece Glenda Brezinsky; nephew Robyn Brezinski; and nephew-in-law Angus Workman.

Larry is survived by his loving children, Lori, Darren (Connie) and Blair; two very special grandsons, Ryan and Brandon; the mother of his children, Gloria; brothers, Walter (Stella) Brezinsky, Philip (Jane) Brezinski, Ernie (Lois) Brezinski and Glen (Rose) Brezinski; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Larry was born and raised in Buchanan, SK. He moved to Regina where he worked at Regina News, Sears and Gref’s Delivery. He then started his own “Larry’s Delivery” service. Larry was a very friendly and sociable person. He loved to visit his family, curl and attend old time dances. Larry enjoyed camping and listening to country music in Craven and he went on many trips to the USA and Mexico.

Larry was very proud of his two grandsons and loved to watch them play hockey and baseball. He could be seen at many of their events with a big smile on his face and a camera in hand. Larry will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.

A family service will be held at a later date.
