It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diane McKen (nee Leach) on April 17, 2022 at the age of 62 years following a lengthy but courageous battle with cancer. Diane is survived by her husband Doug; brother Bart Leach (Denise); sisters-in-law Paula Leach and Margaret Broadfoot; and numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents Gordon (Barney) and Delia Leach; and brother Glenn Leach. Diane was born and raised in Regina, SK with her two brothers. Following high school, she began work at PFRA. She continued working for the Federal Government until her retirement in 2012. Diane enjoyed gardening, collecting vintage cookbooks, antiques (which Doug often had to refinish), and crocheting many awesome pieces. She was an avid Rider Fan and season ticket holder attending games and cheering them on with her husband. Diane loved going for drives in their beloved 1957 Chevy Bel Air, and participating in local and distant car shows. Diane and Doug enjoyed attending concerts, often travelling to wherever their favorite artist was performing, or just travelling to various places. Diane will be missed by her family and many friends. A special thank you to the paramedics, doctors and nurses at the Pasqua Emergency and 3B during her journey. A visitation will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.  Family strongly encourage masks to be worn at the service.
