As a youngster, I remember Larry and Carol renting my parents little house on Comox Avenue. The one thing that always comes to mind about Larry was his laugh and kindness. He was a very good man! My condolences to Carol and family. Robin Barr

Always ready with a laugh. a joke, a prank or a hug, Larry was a bright light on Harbour Key Drive. He loved parties and dressing in costume and we remember many of these. Larry, a long life, well lived. I can still hear that laugh. Rest easy, neighbour! Dianne Mykyte

Rudi and I are sure going to miss Larry. Larry has always had a great personality and sense of humor. I loved walking him over to the barber and I would be running with him in the chair and we would be laughing away. We did citizens on patrol with Larry and a good time was had by us all. Larry we will miss you so very much. Rest in Peace our dear friend.

We are deeply saddend by the loss of our Uncle Larry. He like our father was a great story teller. I remember the time in Calgary at a reunion when he was telling stories and had us all laughing. He held my hand for a moment and remember how much his hand felt like my Dads, it was very heart warming and with some of the same manorisms as dad I felt a connection like no other. Dearest Uncle Larry.. Your cheery voice, brilliant smile and infectious laugh is branded into my heart and memories.. You always made me feel loved.. I will miss you until I see you again. Larry was always formidable in his uniform. I would come to the house and enter the basement, calling up the stairs. He would be standing at the top sometimes, and in his uniform he seemed larger than life. Then his face would crack into a Big Ole Dad smile and he would tell me to come up or where each of the kids was at so I could go find them. His smile lit up any room he was in and will always light up my heart. He was my first bonus dad and always treated me with love and understanding. He will be missed greatly.
