Obituary of Cheryl Ann Marie Perentes

It is with profound sadness and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Cheryl Ann Marie “Anastasia” Perentes. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 20, 2022 at the age of 61. Cheryl was born in Regina in 1960.

Cheryl is survived by her parents, Bill and Bernice Perentes; her four sisters Debbie, Linda, Karen, Christa (Nathan) and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Uncle Peter and Aunt Maria Perentes of Greece; Aunt Irene Perentes of Regina; Uncle Merv and Aunt Marj Kronberger of Alberta; and many cousins.

After high school, Cheryl worked as a hairstylist for many years and went on to work at Pioneer Village. Cheryl loved the outdoors, camping, gardening, cooking and playing guitar as well as traveling to Greece several times, Hawaii and many places throughout Canada.

She had a great love for her family and enjoyed her many friends. She touched many lives with her kindness and generosity.

We’d like to thank all of the wonderful doctors and nurses of the General hospital who cared for her in her final days.

Private family Prayers will be held. Funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church, 3000 Argyle Road, Regina, SK, on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Spiro Vandoros officiating.
