I worked with Dennis many years ago in Treasury & Debt Management of Saskatchewan Finance. I respected him greatly and he gave me that respect back. We shared countless laughs and stories. I got the privilege of getting to meet and know his young family at the time. As time moved on and new jobs took me out of the Province, I kept in touch with Dennis via email for a while. I remember his charm, wit and humor the most (and our many after work drinks at Sage Café next door). You were a good man, Dennis and will be missed by many. I always enjoyed our hugs…cuz we were the same height! Be at peace buddy!

I was best friends with Dennis through high school and university. dennis could be sleeping when I left in the morning, and sleeping when I returned in the afternoon. Dennis would still ace all his subjects. We drifted apart with time and distance, but his friendship will remain in my heart. Randy Pawliw

To cousin Yvonne and to the family members you shared with Dennis. I am sorry for your loss. I never had the pleasure of meeting your husband with whom I shared a name. Yet, many of the condolences I read speak to his kindness, his warmth and a wonderful sense of humour. In that regard it seems he’s left his friends and family an admirable and memorable legacy. I am so very sorry to learn that Dennis has passed away. It was pleasant to see Dennis with a glass of beer as it reminded me of our many debates - sometimes very heated debates - at our local pub. But we always left as friends and started all over again when next we met. I do miss those days. My sincerest sympathies to Yvonne, Scott, Kevin, Kristen and the whole family. I worked with Dennis for a couple of years in the mid 80’s. He was one of the senior officials in the Ministry of Finance that supported and assisted me in my job. With Dennis, what you saw, was what you got, Dennis had no hidden agenda and got the task at hand done. My condolences to his family. Rest In Peace.
