Obituary of Lavonne Heck

Lavonne passed away peacefully on Friday, April 22, 2022 at the age of 90 years. She was born in 1931 at Davidson, SK to Hugh and Helen Eddie. Lavonne was predeceased by her parents; her husband Lloyd; daughter Michele; son Bradley; sisters Lucille and Arlene; and brother Gordon. She is survived by son Brent (Monique); daughter-in-law Debbie (Al), Chris (Kylie) and Brenden (Krystel); daughter Corlyn (Dave), Brittany (Cole) and Andrew; son Scott (Tammy), Angel (Cody) and Bryton; two great-grandchildren arriving in the spring; and sister Glenys. Lavonne was a very strong and intelligent woman, deeply devoted to family. She was a dedicated elementary School Teacher, Social Worker, and served on the pharmaceutical board and other health boards. Lavonne and Lloyd loved to travel - taking motorhome trips, cruising in Alaska, the Caribbean, and Panama Canal, and trips abroad to Spain and Ireland. They enjoyed spending the winter season in Mesa, AZ, as well as Victoria, and Osoyoos, BC. Lavonne was a big sports fan. She especially loved the Riders and Blue Jays. She was an avid reader and relished in the challenge of doing crossword puzzles. Many thanks to the staff at Precious Memories Villa Care Home.
