Leroy Moser

Obituary of Leroy James Moser

Our beloved husband, father and grandfather left us on April 24, 2022 after a 7 month battle with cancer. He is survived by the love of his life, Joellyn; daughters Sharlene Taylor and granddog Baxter, Regina; Laura (Chad) Keuler and precious grandchildren Lucas Harold and Morgan Katrine, Winnipeg. He will be sadly missed by his sister Marie B. Moser (John Bovie) and family, Peterborough, Ont. Also surviving Leroy is his brother-in-law Ken Langston (Pat) and family and his Aunt Mary Moser. Leroy was predeceased by his Dad and Mom, James and Clara Moser and parents-in-law Harold and Dot Langston. Bella is missing her Dad and their frequent tours around the countryside in the Model T. Emma and Sammie can't understand where that warm lap they spent so much time on has gone.

Leroy loved his coffee and lunch outings at a variety of small country restaurants. Many friends were made in these places over the years. His love for his pets was never ending. A day out in the Model T with Bella was always a highlight. He was also very passionate about attending various activities in small towns with the Model T, leading a group of youngsters on bicycles in a parade not long ago. Leroy was also passionate about his fleet of vehicles. You could never be sure what car you might be picked up in if he arrived to get you for an outing. He was a man of few words. When he had something to say, he meant it.

A world of thanks to the Palliative Care Angels at the Pasqua Hospital. They kept him, Sharlene and me in the palms of their hands for the last 11 days of his life providing us with love and compassionate care. We have our memories to sustain us at this difficult time. There will be no service. Donations in Leroy's memory may be made to the Pasqua Hospital, Palliative Care Services 4F, 4101 Dewdney Ave., Regina, SK, S4T 1A5 or to your favourite animal charity.
