Obituary of Catherine Theresa Degelman

With great sadness we announce the passing of our dear wife, mother and grandmother Catherine Degelman, late of Odessa, SK.  Catherine passed away on May 7, 2022 at 78 years of age with her family by her side. She was predeceased by infant daughter Carrie Lyn; parents Adam and Angelina Kress; sisters Dorothy Lang, Ann Runge and Magdalena Michel; brothers Tony and Joe; and brothers-in law John Lang, Richard Dreher and Leonard Schatz.   Catherine is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Elmer; her children Treena (Kelly) Wiesner; and Dean (Cindy) Degelman; grandchildren Saralyn and Darren Wiesner and Evan, Austin and Georgina Degelman; brother Adam (Kathy) Kress; sisters Fran Schatz, Lucille Rainville, Dolores Dreher, Virginia (Dennis) Wilke, Betty Ann (Clarence) Schneider and Angie (Don) Eberle; sisters-in-law Darlene Kress and Jean Kress; brothers-in-law Leo Runge and Carl Michel; and numerous nieces and nephews. Catherine was a wonderful wife, mother, Nana, sister and friend who will be missed dearly by all those who had the privilege to know her. A Celebration of her life will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, Odessa, SK, on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Louis Abello officiating. Private Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens.
