Obituary of George Joseph Daniels

Bud (George) Joseph Daniels passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 in Regina, SK at the age of 87 years. He was born on February 5, 1935 to Raymond Daniels (deceased) and Cecile Reid (deceased).  He is also predeceased by his sister Bebe (Daniels) Doupe; Butch (David) Daniels; daughter Valerie (Daniels) Moffatt; and life-long and treasured best friend and brother-in-law, Roger Hedman.

Bud is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Lillian (Regina); daughters Michele Daniels (Darren) of Regina, SK, Bonnie (Dave) Hoover of Tofield, AB, and Barb (Kent) Alspaugh, of Sorrento Florida; son Neil (Diann) Volden of Shaunavon, SK; beloved sister Betty Hedman of Abbotsford, BC; grandchildren Sean, Adam (Krys), Ashli (Rob), Kimberly (Jeff), Melissa, Jason, Lindsay, Brian, Josh (Crystal), Shane and Graham; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Bud’s wishes, no funeral service will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 2404 Thayer Avenue, #7, Saskatoon, SK, S7L 5X2 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1379 Kenaston Blvd, Winnipeg, MB, R3P 2T5.
