Obituary of Barry John Haroldson

Barry John Haroldson, Late of Regina Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2022 at the age of 73 with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his parents Henry Haroldson and Lavone Clarke; and brother Gordon. 

Barry is survived by his wife Kathy; children Glenda(Carlos), Jocelyn(Jeff), and Robert(Cyndi); six grandchildren Madison, Kieran, Brooklyn, Ava, Carter and Lila; sister Shirley(Joe); brother Vern(Dot) and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Barry was born in Prince Albert Saskatchewan. He spent his early years on his Grandparents farm near Hawkeye, Saskatchewan. Barry attended high school at Balfour Tech in Regina. During this time he met the love of his life Kathy. They made their life in Regina where they raised their three children. After working multiple jobs he settled into a 27 year career as a caretaker with the Regina Public School Board. Following retirement Barry enjoyed the other loves of his life “Scamp,” his pets Sam and Elmo, visiting his children and their families and of course tinkering in his beloved garage. He loved speaking Ukrainian and laughing with his brother and sister. Barry cherished his coffee time with many dear friends.

A Private Family Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022. Interment will be held at Regina Memorial Gardens.
