Obituary of Colleen Margaret Reddick
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Colleen Reddick. Colleen left us peacefully on Saturday, May 14, 2022 while surrounded by some of the most important people in her life. Over the past few months, Colleen has shown incredible strength and resilience as she battled through her health issues. Never complaining, she faced every obstacle with patience and determination.
She was predeceased by her parents, Eric and Helen Stephenson; brother Kent Stephenson; her loving husband and biggest supporter Don Reddick; in-laws William and Lillian Reddick; and youngest son Brayden Reddick, whom she lost just six years earlier on the very same day of her passing.
Colleen is survived by her devoted and supportive son Michael and future daughter-in-law Ashley; big sister and true friend Cathy; brother-in-law and favourite Catch-Phrase partner Royal; nieces, Lindsey (Taylor), Ashley, Jenny (Aaron) and Kelsey; great-aunt Shirley; great-niece Charlotte; great-nephew Lincoln; puppies, Toby and Sadie; and other loving family members.
Colleen was born in Saskatoon, SK where she met her husband and best friend Don. The two moved to Regina in 1986 where they were blessed with two sons, Michael, on January 9, 1992 and Brayden, on October 2, 1996. After getting her start at Richardson Greenshields, Colleen worked extremely hard, persevered, and built a very successful investment advising business - a feat few women before her were able to accomplish. Typically a male-dominated industry, Colleen’s quick wit and never-give-up attitude propelled her to the coveted corner office with one of the most successful businesses at RBC Dominion Securities in Regina. Through all this, Colleen never lost sight of the personal relationships she built with each client. Though Colleen poured everything into her career, she found a way to dedicate even more of herself to her family, never missing a sporting event, music recital, or other milestone in her two sons’ lives. Colleen found her greatest joy in laughter while spending time with her family and friends on vacations, playing games on camping trips, and hosting parties in her backyard around the pool. Colleen will be fondly remembered for her sense of humour and ability to light up any stage with her best performance on the spoons. Many things to many people, Colleen was a fierce leader, dedicated friend, loving sister and Auntie, but most importantly, the best Mom in the world. She will be missed forever.
The family wishes to extend their heart felt thank you, to the entire transplant team.
Celebration of Colleen’s Life will be held at the Wascana Country Club, 6500 Wascana Pkwy, Regina, SK, on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with Michelle Rohde officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider registering as an organ donor. The beautiful gift of an organ gave Colleen both hope, and more time with her family.
