I have so many happy and fun memories of Joan, as a friend and truly an additional sister from past years. Joan was a very sparkling, vibrant and beautiful person. I did not not reconnect with Joan in her time of need when I had the chance and will forever regret this. Joan is happy with George and Anne.

I last ran into Joan at the pasqua hospital, while my mom was there. Joan was so quick to offer me kind words, advice and an amazing attitude, despite what she was going through at the time. I was lucky enough to work beside Joan for a time at Canadian Linen, and she was an amazing and patient mentor. She had an infectious laugh and awesome personality, you couldn’t be grouchy at work when working with Joan, she always was laughing and making sure to brighten everyone’s day. God only takes the best. Rest In Peace, you beautiful soul. My condolences to Joan’s family. From D’Arcy and Carly

Joan,you will definitely be missed.
Your infectious laugh, your bubbly personality, the fact that throughout your ordeal you never gave up hope when others in your place would have crumbled to pieces.I have had the privilege to speak to Joan not long before her passing, she wanted to come to work one last time to say good bye to all of us but unfortunately God decided to call her heaven before that.
Every time Joan would mention her kids, her face would light up and had this beaming smile on her face as she was very proud of their accomplishments
May you rest in peace Joannie and until we meet again !

Sorry you are gone Joan, enjoyed working with you for many years. The memory that sticks with me is when at work I hear screaming in the front office with someone saying call an ambulance. Joan’s shoulder socket popped out and she was in great pain. I ran to her and gave her shoulder a big shove and popped it back in. She went back to her desk at doing what she did best. I had the same problem with my shoulder popping out so I knew what to do. Thanks to watching a Bruce Willis movie. Rest In Peace my girl.

I write this for myself and my mom Bev Hubick who passed just last year.
I worked for a brief time with Joan at Canadian Linen. She was always so kind and fun, asking about my kids and myself - she really took time to get to know me and I truly appreciated that. I also witnessed Joan being truly focused on customer service, whether in person or on the phone. This to me epitomizes Joan - always helping others with a smile and her bubbly laugh. We remained friends long after I left Canadian Linen as Joan was such a warm spirit who I could chat with for hours at Canadian Tire or over lunch.
She was also a good friend to my mom Bev Hubick whom she worked with for many years. They had lots of fun and laughs together and were able to commiserate over work frustrations. After my mom's retirement Joan was someone who made an effort to keep in touch with Mom to tell her the work gossip and to keep her informed of her latest and greatest family news.
To know Joan though was to know her family. She spoke constantly of her husband, kids and grandkids. Of her parents and siblings. She was so devoted to her family. She was so proud of you all and shared all your stories and accomplishments with anyone who would listen. You are definitely her pride and joy and she is with you forever.
Joan was a friend to my mom and I. I have comfort knowing they are supporting each other in heaven. May her memory be eternal. We love you Joan.
