Obituary of John Jacob Kurtz
On June 11, 2022, John J. Kurtz was called to be with his Lord. John was born in Regina on May 14th, 1924 and lived in the Queen City his whole life. John is survived by his loving wife Monica, happily married for sixty-eight years.
John was pre-deceased by his only loving son James in 1996, parents Phillip and Katherine Kurtz, brothers Phillip (Anne) Kurtz, Joseph (Ruth) Kurtz, Nick (Ruth) Kurtz; sisters Mary (John) Nieszner, Elizabeth (John) Pugh, Caroline Kurtz, Nellie (Bernard) Jelinski, brothers-in-law Jack (Lorraine) Graham and Lorne (Shirley Ann) Zora, mother-in-law Daphne Bisset, father-in-law Ed Fortier, many nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts and a multitude of friends. The family remembers with thanks, Dr. Stewart McMillan.
A Celebration of thanksgiving is an opportunity to thank God for the loving people who have gone on before: son James, parents, brothers and sisters, extended family by marriage and a multitude of friends in all walks of life.

A Service of thanksgiving will be held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 190 Massey Road, Regina SK, on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 1:30 p.m.
