My wife Cintra and I extend our deepest condolence to Trish, Kevin and the entire Jevons family. Our family, including our children Shanna and Larissa, have fond memories of Ron and Dorothy. I was pleased that we enjoyed a friendship and a kinship at Sunset United Church. We had a close relationship when we shared in the leadership, him as minister and I as chair of the official board. His tenure included exciting and beautiful times as well as difficult and painful occasions. I was honored to walk that journey with him. We missed him dearly when he left but cherished those special memories. We are grateful that Ron enriched our lives as he did so many others throughout his ministry. May you feel the comfort of God’s loving embrace and may God give you grace and strength in your time of loss.

We were very sad to hear of Ron’s passing. He was always special to us as he is the minister that married us in 1973 while he served at the Preeceville-Sturgis United Church Pastoral Charge. He was a kind, caring, compassionate man! We have many fond memories of Ron & Dorothy. Deepest sympathy to the the Jevon’s family.

Ron’s kind nature and wisdom was evident in confirmation classes followed by my baptism as a young adult.
We were so pleased with having his knowledge for our journey as he married my husband and I in 1992!
Thinking of his family and of his humble, compassionate legacy. Blessings to the Jevons.

I remember Rob fondly as a U.C. colleague. I remember the twinkle in his eye which easily turned into a wink. He was usually jolly. He was very smart and well read. He had a bad time with alcohol addiction but pulled himself out with the help of Jo Mader and other friends. He made a recovery and continued to serve the church. I praise him for that. I think he went to St. Andrew's a year after I did. May he rest in peace .
