My mother meant many things to many people. She was a mother to Ed, Dean and me, a grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren, a great-grandmother, an aunt, wife, and mother-in-law, and a friend to many more. She worked hard to provide us with a comfortable life, baked anything beautifully, and tended to her garden year after year, so we always had fresh food on the table.
What comes to my mind first when I think of those challenging years she experienced raising three boys is the Christmas season. She loved that time of year, and so did we. It is safe to say we could not have been happier, and Mom made Christmas extra-special. Her baking, the Christmas records, the tree-a real one for many of those years-and the joy we felt as a family was always special. Oh! She also filled those Christmas stockings-which she made-with great little surprises
We all have our fond memories of Mom, and thankfully they remain, to remind us of how special she was.
We love you, Mom, and we do miss you so very much.
