HERR, Eileen Mae (nee Shaw)

 

Eileen was born on August 16, 1939 to Norman and Mildred Shaw and grew up in Tate, Saskatchewan.  She married the love of her life, Don, on October 7, 1960. They farmed at Lockwood and then moved to the farm at Nokomis, prior to moving to Regina in 2013.  Eileen’s love for her family ran deep, and spending time with family brought her great joy.  She was an avid Blue Jays fan, and was known for her homemade buns and her love for Red Rose tea.

 

Eileen is survived by her husband Don, of 61 years; daughter Diane Berg; grandchildren Dayna Berg and Nolan Berg; sisters Sharon (Artie) Godlien and Donna (Harvey) Granatier; brother Ron (Cathy) Shaw; sisters-in-law Bonnie Shaw, Candace Shaw, Doreen (Ron) Messer and Donna Morrow; brother-in-law Irving (Trudy) Herr; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  She was predeceased by her parents Norman and Mildred Shaw; brothers Wayne, Bob and Brian; sister Lorraine; and granddaughter Katelyn.

 

In keeping with Eileen’s wishes, the family will hold a private interment at Riverside Memorial Park at a later date.
