Obituary of Andrew Mark Spirito

Andrew, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Thursday, June 23, 2022 with his loving children and palliative nurses by his side at the age of 66 years. He was predeceased by his father, John Spirito; mother Edith Spirito (nee Rutherford); sister Janet (Phil) Farnell; and twin nephews, Andrew and Matthew. Andrew is survived by his children Ashley (Bruce), Andrea (Ej), Nicole (Kyle), Mike (Angie) and Michelle (Ted); grandchildren, Tia (Chan), Kamryn, Aria, Braedyn, Londyn, Everleigh, Theo, Tyler, Emma, Griffin, Kayden, Karsen, Chase, and Sidney; brother-in-law Philip Farnell; nephew Samuel (Trina); great-nephews, Hayden and Cooper; great-niece Julie; nephew Logan (Tiffany); great-nieces Fayde and Raeve. He is also survived by special friend Stephan.

Andrew, best known as Andy, lived his life according to his own rules and he did not make excuses for the choices he made throughout his life. Andy enjoyed all sports, both playing and watching. He enjoyed the outdoors and in recent years he enjoyed camping with his eldest daughter Ashley and her family. Andy enjoyed listening to music and he also enjoyed and was skilled at painting, whether it be outside work or inside work, he was happy when using his hands. His family hopes that Andy will now find the peace he sought throughout his life.

Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul’s Columbarium on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
