VON HAGEN, Betty

(nee Slager)

July 13, 1936 – July 5, 2022

Betty Von Hagen was born and raised in Tribune, SK.  She finished her grade 11 and 12 in Regina at Balfour Tech.  Betty met Harold and was married by 18 years of age, and they raised their family in Regina. She worked for the Co-operators for 27 years and retired at 55. 

Betty was an active member of the Westminster United Church and Al-Anon.  She became a Life Master at Duplicate Bridge, travelled with friends, and regularly participated in fitness activities along with the many activities at Harbour Landing Village. 

Betty was predeceased by her loving husband Harold; parents Marjorie and Henry; brother Don; and son-in-law Bob Forster. 

She is survived by her sister Joan (Larry) Reykdal; her children: Dale (Lorraine), Brian (Brenda), Donna, and Joanne (Tom); her grandchildren: Danika (Braden) Husdal, Dalton (Crystal), Drew (Maddy), Spencer Atkins, Eric Atkins (Britanni); and her great-grandchildren: Jacqueline and Peter Husdal.

Honorary Pallbearers: Danika Husdal, Dalton Von Hagen, Drew Von Hagen, Spencer Atkins, and Eric Atkins.

Funeral Service will take place at Westminster United Church, 3025 13th Avenue, Regina, SK on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 10:30 a.m.  Parking available at the Holy Rosary Cathedral parking lot on Cameron St.
