1976 – 2022

Allison Nancy Jones passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 2, 2022, in Regina, Saskatchewan, in her 46^th year. She is survived and deeply missed by her parents William Davern Jones and Mary Mahon Jones; stepmother Marsha Loraas; stepfather Robert Pakrul; grandmother Marion (Mahon) Ellis; brother (Wm.) Davern Jones; sister-in-law Christy Bromstad; stepbrothers Seamus Jones, Liam Jones and Lachlan Jones; and her cherished nephews Tristan Jones and Desmond Jones. She will also be missed by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues.

Although Allison was born in Kingston, Ontario, most of her life was spent in Regina, Saskatchewan. She attended École St. Pius X Elementary School, Campbell Collegiate and the University of Regina. At Campbell, she earned an International Baccalaureate Certificate for the Arts.  Allison had a long history of working at SaskTel as a leader in managed information services and systems’ security and was dedicated and passionate about her job.

In addition to her impish smile and the twinkle in her eyes, Alli will be remembered as a gifted artist who left a legacy of drawings and paintings that will be treasured.  She adored animals and had several much-loved pets over the years, including her dog Declan who predeceased her, and her surviving cats Connor, Chase and Charlie. 

Alli’s family will be hosting a Celebration of her Life on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, in the library at the Hotel Saskatchewan, 2125 Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Everyone who knew her is welcome to attend and, if so inspired, share a memory of Alli. Those who cannot attend in person are welcome to send their memories to mahonjones@gmail.com to be read aloud during the course of the evening.
