I was saddened for all of you to hear of the passing of your Mom. I will always have fond memories of how our families were inter-twined over the decades. My heart goes out to each and every one of you. I hope you find solace in the telling of all your family stories and memories with each other, along with the laughter and tears that go with them. The love never ever goes away.
Sincere condolences to all of you,

John, Tom, Monica, Kathy, Michael, Pat, Margaret & Families: I just heard of Laureen’s passing today and wanted to pass on my condolences and thoughts to you all. Laureen (and Joe) were so good to me as a young woman and mother. John and my children were blessed to have them both as grandparents. They learned much about the value of family over breakfasts of waffles filled with laughter and enjoyable times spent at their home on Allen Avenue and at the Greenwater cottage. Their love of food, art, animals, and horticulture were cultivated through those years. As a young mother of 23, I remember when I took Merrick to daycare for the first time and went to see Laureen in tears several lunch hours in a row, in despair. She fed me, wiped up my tears, gave me one of her giant bear hugs - and assured me that I was a good mom and that by working I was setting a good example for them in making a better world for them through my contribution. Laureen was a true matriarch of the Moran clan, and also a strong advocate for a woman’s value. I shared a birthday with Laureen and enjoyed a decade of family gatherings with cake and celebrations on that day! It was her special day and I knew that, but I never had parties growing up so it was meaningful to me that my day was acknowledged all those years too. She was so proud of her grandchildren as they were the light of her life - I recall that she loved nothing more than to hold a baby in her arms! Rest In Peace Laureen. I’m glad you are now reunited with Lisa and your darling Joe. Your legacy lives on in the family you created.

Dear Kathy and family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of Laureen. I visited in the Moran home a few times from Saskatoon with my friend Kathy and it was always a bustling place with people coming and going. I remember being welcomed by the family members present at the times I visited. I always enjoyed listening to the stories Laureen told and she had a few to share. She seemed to be in the thick of things going on in Regina and the centre of her home. This was a woman on the go. A big family, a busy career and a husband dedicated to making Regina a better place to be with the development of Wascana Park; an indispensable part of the city. Laureen had a zest for life that showed in all she did while I knew her. She has left an incredible legacy in the family that survives her.

To the Moran family, so sorry to hear of Loreen's recent passing, such a difficult time for you all. We were long term neighbours on Allen Avenue, many happy memories of your busy household and our relationships on the block. Your Mother was a special lady for sure. Take good care, and again, our sincere sympathies.

To the children of Laureen Moran,
I was saddened to learn of the passing of your dear mother. She was a very special lady. My late husband Frank Ottenbreit and I used to take Holy Communion to Laureen and Joe after Mass on Friday mornings at Christ the King Parish. Laureen was a good friend, and arranged the sale of my mother and father's home.
May she Rest in Peace.

A wonderful lady who acted as a ‘grandma-Moran’ (Bam-Moran) to our girls before she had grandchildren of her own. She was always so welcoming to us when we had the chance to visit her in her home in Regina and we have many fond memories of her. Mitch even more than myself as he knew Kathy and Larry from school! Rest peacefully Laureen knowing the legacy you have left behind will honour you and Joe forever. Love to your whole family. With our sincere condolences, Lorrie and Mitch Adams and daughters Karrie and Jennifer.
