I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Kathryn. She was such a kind, caring and talented Woman. She held all of her friends and family so close to her heart, and us her. I am much richer for having known her and had the joy of singing in the choir with Kathryn. Heaven is that much more beautiful now with her soul. My condolences to Pat and the rest of her family, you were always part of our long conversations, and to her many, many friends as well. May the Lord comfort and care for you.

My memories of Molly were all at the Melville Hockey Rink. We were team mates on the first all girls hockey team. She played defense and was a tough lady. No one messed with our goal tender. Rest in peace Molly, always fondly remembered.

My sincere condolences to Kathryn's family. She enjoyed music, making others feel good and was a good-hearted, generous and talented person. I first met Kathryn through the woman's community and later in the early days of our Louisiana Jane cajun/zydeco band. I recall we had so much fun at her family's cottage. Later we played together in the Regina Mandolin Orchestra where she composed and sang solo. I was shocked and saddened by the news that she had gone to be with the Creator. Kathryn will missed and always be remembered fondly.

My sincere condolences to all of Molly's family and friends. She will be greatly missed, especially by myself and the other six ladies in our Big Sister group who got together once a month for supper and to put the world to rights! Molly was very funny, musically talented and a good friend to all. RIP Molly.

My condolences to Kathryn's family. I had the pleasure of playing music with Kathryn as a member of Louisiana Jane. No matter what was going on, Kathryn always had a smile on her face, and a bright outlook on life. In addition, I remember her as a truly gifted songwriter. Playing "Cajun Cousin" was always a joy to play bass on, but my favorite original Kathryn song was, "Love Has Slipped Away". When she would play that at gigs, often times as a solo artist while the rest of us girls were taking a break, she would perform that song, and no matter how loud the crowd was, or what was going on, when she started in on that one, everyone would stop and listen as she performed. She could really captivate an audience! What a talented artist she was. Wishing you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

PAT & Kathryn’s family
I was so sorry to hear that Kathryn left us but find much comfort with this scripture in knowing
she is presently with the Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:8 “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. We are of good courage, I say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord.”
Kathryn was one of the very first members of Louisiana Jane and she was an absolute joy to work with. I have also been blessed to have her as a good friend over the years. She loved her family as much as she loved music so I know that she will be deeply missed by all of you.
Included with Kathryn’s legacy with the band, she gifted us with the song “Cajun Cousin” for our CD. Rest in peace Kathryn.
