The world has lost a bright shining star. Always there helping others. I remember meeting Dale for the first time in 2010 in Canada for the reunion. Never forgotten, always missed. Rest in peace Dale. Your friend Per-Anders from Sweden.

Dear Judith, Luke, Brienne and Family
Thinking of you with love and prayers on the passing of Dear Cousin Dale.
"Cous, you were a special part of my life. So many laughs and good times we've shared over the years. Just a couple fond memories. In our younger days, me skiing in the country, hanging on to a rope tied up to the truck (you & Ken behind the wheel) wrapping me around the road sign at Freddies' corner by Pine Bluff School!! Our road trip through the USA with you & Drake when I finished high school. Your birthday at my basement apartment in Saskatoon. It took me at least 2-3 days to bake your cake & ice & decorate (several layers). What a picture it was. The day of your party (waiting for your arrival), the cake was sitting on my dining table under my window which was open, the landlord walked by with his mower, and your cake turned a beautiful shade of green! And your special trip to Yellowknife before I left Canada."
Farewell Dear Cousin
You are forever in our thoughts
Maureen, Ryan, Celina & Kaylee

I’m writing on behalf of some ancestors to Dale in Sweden. My grandfathers father Erik Eriksson from Skivsjö in Västerbotten Sweden was a brother to Carl-Gustav Eriksson who emigrated to Canada in year 1912.
We are very sorry to hear that Dale has passed away. Although we never met him in person we felt that he was an extraordinary man in many ways. He seems to have been interested in many things and some of a fathers figure for all Malmgren’s in Canada. We only had contact threw the internet but we felt that he was a true friend. Our plan was to make a short video with some of his relatives in Sweden for his eightieth birthday. However we are spread all over Sweden so we missed that possibility.
Todays our thoughts goes first of all to Judith, Luke and Brienne and we hope that we can have some contact with our relatives in Canada even in the future.
Thord Eriksson Örebro Sweden.
