Obituary of Ko Day

Ko Day, beloved family member of Ya Way and the late Shel Way. Ko Day passed away peacefully at Emmanuel Villa Personal Care Home in Regina, Saskatchewan on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at the age of 98 years. Ko Day was born in Burma at Klaw Thaw Kee and came to Canada on August 5, 2009.

Ko Day was predeceased by her parents; siblings; and her niece Shel Way. She is survived by her nephew Ya Way; nieces and nephews and their families; and especially Tee Ku Paw’s family. Ko Day was a cherished grandmother to her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Although Ko Day never married, she dearly loved her doll while she was in the care home. She was always surrounded by a big loving family and her friends. Ko Day was a very kind, friendly, and loving person.

Public Visitation will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
