Obituary of Katherine Mack

It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the death of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and sister on May 14, 2022, in Leduc, Alberta. Born in a farmhouse near Roche Percée, Saskatchewan on August 23, 1925, Katherine was predeceased by her husband Ralph; her parents, Linus and Katherine; her sister Anna; and her brothers, Louie and Lin. Left to mourn our loss and remember her with the deepest of love are her children, Michelle, Perry (Veronica), Clayton, and Cheryl (Morley). We are so fortunate to be able to share our stories of Mom, her great recipes, and love of card games with her grandchildren, Tiffany, Rachel, Natalie, Cameron, and Heather. Also left to mourn are her siblings, Joseph (Mary), Dominick, Ralph (Sally) and Frances; great-grandchildren, Harley, Cheyenne, and Faith; great-great-grandchild Leliana, and numerous nieces and nephews.

As her children we can’t even begin to describe how blessed we are to have been raised and loved by our mom. Mom was our greatest ally and most proud cheerleader. In her eyes, she saw no limits to what we could achieve. She did her very best to support our dreams and we are deeply indebted to all her many sacrifices for her children. Mom’s love continues to be her greatest gift and is what sustains us through this unimaginable loss. Mom, though you lived a long life, we are left with a debt of love we can never repay in full. As you passed, we hope you could feel our presence and love surrounding you. You will forever be missed.

Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Masks will be mandatory at the service and reception. The service will be livestreamed.
