So sorry to hear about Moe. He will be sadly missed. I worked alongside him on the Christmas efforts and the elections at the Regina Provincial Correctional Centre for twenty years. Have many fond memories and had some good laughs. He will not be forgotten. Prayers for you and your family.

Remember all the times a group of us got together for a few beers .Everybody loved to give Moe a little bit of grief. In fun of course. Moe always took it with a smile and a witty reply. In 50 years I never saw Moe angry. He will be missed.

My condolences to Moe's family. My heart goes out to you all. I worked with Moe at the Correctional Centre and he was such a kind and funny man. He always put a smile on my face and it was always a joy seeing him make his way through the units delivering papers or fixing the machines. He has been missed since his retirement. Just know he was loved by many coworkers.

Maurice was a caring friend. Although I left Regina 40+years ago, we managed to stay in touch and throughout the years he would always ask about my sons, dad, brothers and sisters. He loved Jessie dearly and would write about how especially proud he was of her and her family. Its been mentioned that he had a great sense of humor and he most certainly did. Maurice lived a blessed good life! I wish his family comfort and strength through this sorrowful time. God Bless.

So sorry to hear of Moe’s sudden passing. It’s still so hard to believe he’s gone. My memories of Moe are all good. I always thought he was one of the kindest, most patient and generous men I knew. Before I knew him I admired him. Not many men were so accepting of caring for all the nephews, nieces and the kids friends that were constantly at his home in the summer. many of those kids spent time at our house with my son and other friends in town. They all had such good fun together and I believe Moe was a constant ‘backup home’ for all those who wanted to enjoy the lake. Such a good man. I was also blessed with a birthday cake one year from Moe. That is the only time a man made me a cake ! He was over visiting on our deck (likely a beer or 2 was involved) and by chance he found out my birthday was the next day. The next morning he was over with a cake! Moe was an amazing man and I always thought we’d get to know him better after he retired. Unfortunately there wasn’t enough time.
Jessie, Braeden, Grace, Mike, Steph, Holly, Andy and all the many people who loved Moe….my deepest, deepest condolences. We feel your loss and will for a long long time. He was loved by all at Glen Harbour and he will be so missed.

Dear Jessie and family,
We are so saddened to hear of Moe’s passing. Moe was a wonderful neighbour and a great father. We have lots of great memories of Moe teaching Jessie to ride a bike and how to play catch, Moe spent hours walking up and down Bond St with Jessie when she first learned how to walk. Moe had the greatest smile and sense of humour!!! RIP Moe!

Hello to Moe's family, especially Jessie.
We were thinking of Moe a couple of weeks ago as I read his sister's obituary. What. a shock to open the Speers page and read his obituary. Moe was part of our family and dated my sister in the early 70's. He is godfather to our son, Kris. We would occasionally run into him at Glen Harbour and we would catch up with family news. His laugh...loved it. He worked hard and idolized you Jess. We are so so sorry, that he died so suddenly.. ... like a " Thief in the night" . Please accept our deepest sympathy.

So saddened and sorry to hear about Moe. He was such a great guy and he never spoke a bad word about anybody. Dave and I saw him at the gym often. Moe always would stop and have a chat with us. We will always remember his friendly smile. You’ve posted some good pictures of him Jessie. That smile says it all! Thinking of you.
